Magnus is from Ahoada East Local Government of Rivers State.

 Before his appointment as Executive Director in FIGGET, he held a managerial position in Favour Enterprises Ventures, Lagos, in 2001 – a company with a core competence  in supplies of furniture to corporate organisations. Companies like Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority ranks among their principal clientele.

Engr. Magnus was also a co-founder of OCEAN ENERGY AND PROJECT LTD – a world- class energy company in Rivers state Nigeria, known for harnessing and developing the abundant energy resources of Africa, especially the hydrocarbon sector of the energy value chain mostly in the Niger Delta that has rich and abundant  deposits.

He is also the  MD/CEO, Magsco Multi-Communications (experts in security management systems and gadgets); Magsco  Multi-purpose Services, (an International oil & gas-equipment procurement agency) and Magsco Multi – Purpose Services (a company that markets and install industrial agricultural equipments and machineries, till date.

He has executed notable projects for companies and institutions  like, SAHCOL in Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku; Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt; Niger Delta Petroleum Resources  Limited (NDPR).

Magnus also worked briefly with Diamond bank in 2000.

Engr. Magnus Chinemerem  Amele holds an OND in Electrical Electronics (Ikeja Polytechnic); Diploma in Computer Science (Lagos City Computer College); HNC/D’s in Electrical Electronics (City and Guilds of London Institutes) and Member, Nigeria Professional Security Association(MNPSA).
